Terramar Fifth Grade

FACTS: Foundation of Academics/Arts, Character, Thinking, and Service
Class Mission: We are here in 5th grade to set and reach goals to meet or exceed the 5th grade standards.  We need to cooperate with each other and have 212 degree focus.  We will make this happen by practicing, perservering, and putting in the extra degree.

Fifth Grade News!

Celebration of American History

You are cordially invited to attend a special fifth grade program of narrative and music celebrating American history and the great presidents who have led our country.  The date is Friday, February 28 from 10:15-10:45 AM in the multi-purpose room.  We hope you will be able to attend and enjoy the talents of our wonderful fifth grade students!  Please remind your student to wear any combination of red, white or blue the day of the program.  Contact Mrs. Lowe with any questions.  (rebekah.lowe@dvusd.org) 

Spotlight Youth Theater

Spotlight Youth Theater is coming in to teach a 10 week course and there will be a culminating performance.  This is free to our students.  It begins March 5, 3-5 pm.

Impact Grant Award

On December 10, Mrs. McLuen was awarded a $500 impact grant.  This grant was awarded at the district office and was funded through USAA.  Over 90 students will be impacted by this grant this year.  Mrs. McLuen purchased a supplemental writing program that supports our state's new College and Career Readiness Standards.
